Taiwan Internship Program for Indian Students

Taidia International facilitates the Taiwan Internship Program for Indian students, a government-designed and regulated initiative that provides hands-on industry training in hospitality, culinary, and tourism sectors. This program is designed to give real-world exposure and international experience — it is strictly an internship program, not a full-time job placement.

Internship Basic Offer (May vary slightly by hotel)

  • Stipend: TWD 15,000/month (paid in cash, no deduction)
  • Accommodation: Free (shared rooms, 5–8 students)
  • Meals: 2–3 meals on working days
  • Working Hours: 8 hours/day, 5 days/week
  • Overtime: TWD 150/hour (with intern’s consent)
  • Future Scope: Full-time job may be possible after internship (not guaranteed)

Student Eligibility

  • Be currently enrolled in hospitality / culinary / tourism program
  • Have completed at least one semester
  • Be aged 18–20 years
  • (If not, gap explanation required)
  • Have basic English communication skills
  • Internship duration allowed is 50% of total course duration
  • Example: 6-month course → 3-month internship
  • Example: 2-year course → 1-year internship

Financial Considerations

Students are responsible for:

  • Round-trip air ticket (INR 25,000–50,000 approx.)
  • 50% reimbursed after internship completion
  • Passport fee
  • Visa & visa extension fee
  • Translation & legal documentation fees
  • All payments must have proof of receipt

Code of Conduct

  • Compliance with Taiwan local laws
  • Adherence to host company rules
  • Misconduct may lead to early termination and deportation
